I love to finish my day relaxing with a good book. But sometimes, I am known to buy books just because I love the cover design, the thick and creamy paper, the tasteful typography or an attention to detail that my bookish nerd brain just cannot resist.
When I cannot create stuff with my own two hands for too long, I get sad. Feeling textures and materials, getting back in touch with the real world and having tangible results is something I thoroughly enjoy.
I am known for hosting whimsical tea parties in summer and Burns Night haggis suppers in winter, often amazing my German guests with Scottish and British treats they have never tasted before.
For me there is nothing better to clear my head than taking a tour on my bike. Feeling the fresh air, wind and speed helps reviving me after a long day of work.
Science fiction combines reflections on our current world with utopian or dystopian visions. This analysis and creativity is what intrigues me most about this genre.
Apart from travelling to Scotland once a year, I also enjoy visiting lots of other places. Whether it is another town or region in Germany or a different country, there is always something new to be seen, to capture and to learn.
